What is difference between LCD and LED TVS, maybe this is a question that you want to know if you are asked to choose a new TV to replace your old TV, and to answer this question you should know in advance what is meant by the LCD and what is meant by LEDs

Liquid Cristal Display or LCD TV is kind of a new generation of Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) TV that has a large tube behind. This LCD uses liquid crystal molecules or also called pixel, and LCDs are built with a sealing layer of liquid crystals between two glass panes. Behind this is a series of Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps – CCFL – that project light through the polymer crystals. When current is run through a crystal controlled, they also add color to the light, or block it entirely. In each pixel color LCD using three sub-pixels of red, blue, and green color filters. LCD has a contrast level, and also has a slow refresh rate, which means that the blur is common. The angle of view is too narrow, which means that it may be difficult to find out a position that offers a good view to all people, especially in small rooms.

Light Emitting Diode  or LED TV is in reality the next generation of LCD screens, because they are based on the same technology but uses LED back lighting as a replacement for fluorescent back light found in a traditional LCD screen. The new back lighting technology means that they are capable of delivering image quality is much more dynamic, they as well usage importantly less power than LCD TVs. Additionally LED screen made into very thin, so they propose consumers the power to put a TV almost anywhere as tied to the wall in order to save space.

Currently the price of LED TVs are more expensive than a LCD TV but with the increasing of using of LED, it will make decreasing production cost, so the price is also expected to decrease by the same as LCD prices are now lower than when first launched. Compared with the LCD TV, the Light of LED is worse for your health but the LED TV is more environmentally friendly if you do not use it anymore.

Indeed there are some difference in LCD and LED TVS in which each has advantages and disadvantages, and if you want to buy and choose one of them then make sure you know the advantages and disadvantages of each method has to offer, given the continuously evolving technology which is also affect the quality of the product and prices of technology good offered
